In this article, we are interested in the perceptions of future teachers with regard to the use of ICT in their initial training. We submitted a questionnaire survey, based on several theoretical models of ICT integration, to 341 preservice teachers in two Costa Rican universities. On the one hand, we show that preservice teachers generally have a wide use of ICT for their training, we also observed the versatility of the same tool and the blurred boundaries between formal and informal education.
