The immersive 3D virtual worlds are emerging technologies and provide learning experiences and unique teaching. This paper tries to understand the mode and style of collaboration appropriate in this kind of environment and determines the motivation and achievement of desired learning objectives. We present a teaching experience of virtual architecture and 3D modeling in Second Life.
