The works presented here concern the conception of an educational device intended for the vocational training in the higher education. Our interest concerns the group-based pedagogy to facilitate learning of the knowledge and the essential know-how to exercise a professional activity. We conceived an educational device, called MAETIC e-suitcase, for this learning. In this article, we present the scientific context of our works, the genesis of the device and the proposed pedagogical model in layers. We then describe the e-suitcase developed in 2006, its experiment and the e-suitcase developed in 2007. We conclude with the opened development perspectives of the device.
