Étude préliminaire des pratiques de navigation dans un environnement d’apprentissage informatique et mesure de leur efficacité pédagogique
A preliminary study of navigation practices in a computerized learning environment, and measuring their educational effectiveness
Abstract
Carried out within an experiment aiming to evaluate the opportunity to introduce learning objects in undergraduate Statistics training, the present research investigated the relationship between students’ use of learning resources in an on-line learning environment. Students’ navigation patterns provide a rich source of pedagogical information about the learning process they enforced. Results show that the analysis of navigation patterns conceals information with learning range far more interesting, such as the definition of on-line training strategies and the measure of their learning efficiency. There seems to be a relation between the use intensity of the environment resources and the marks obtained by students.
