This paper examines a dynamic innovation: a distance certification system that can handle very large numbers of students. Designed for students who are already familiar with traditional educational structures, it treats all participants equitably while managing a large-scale database. Based on the research on student logs in distance education, potential interactions between student involvement and performance are characterized.
